This yoga vacation experience offers meditation and yoga for all levels, opportunities to tap into you inner creative self, luxe accommodations 6 minutes walking distance to the beach, delicious, nutrient dense catered meals, a free day to explore and relax, plus so much more! Imagine starting your day with a serene meditation overlooking the stunning turquoise waters and sandy beaches of Anna Maria Island. Ground yourself in the warm sand, amidst breathtaking views, while breathing in the abundant salt water air. Follow this with a dynamic yoga session like “Churning of the Sea”, or “Flow & Glow” designed to energize your body and calm your mind. Next, take a short walk to North Shore Cafe, the island’s stellar coffee shop for a light breakfast and your favorite coffee drink or smoothie, or enjoy being served a scrumptious brunch by chef Vivian of Gourmet on the Go.

Midday brings a variety of relaxing activities such as writing or creating. Take a stroll down Pine Avenue to browse the shops and boutiques, enjoy an ice cream cone at Two Scoops, or kick back on the beach with your toes in the sand, or settle in poolside, overlooking the sparkling resort-style pool and waters of the intercostal. For those who like to explore, check out one of the many excursions available on the island like paddle boarding, manatee watching, or walking the miles of flat sandy beaches.

Evening ushers in another unique yoga experiences like “Sunset Salutations” or “Deep Stretch Delight” where the perfect end-of-day session meets you on the yoga mat. Dinner follows as you savor the robust colors and flavors of the island’s cuisine whether dining at the acclaimed Sandbar restaurant or enjoying a catered meal pool-side. Highlights:

  • 4 nights accommodations at either Spring Haven or Serenity Springs properties

  • 2 daily yoga classes- vinyasa in the morning and yin or yoga dance in the evening

  • alcohol will not be provided. If you would like to enjoy a glass of wine or spirits, please feel free to bring your own

  • any cost associated with excursions or extending your stay past Saturday Nov. 1

  • breakfast and lunch on the free day (Thurs.)

  • breakfast on the day of departure (Sat.)

Pricing & Registration

  • $1400 total per person-please see included/not included above for details

  • initial payment ($700), is due upon registration, the second half of the total payment will be automatically charged, 30 days prior to the arrival date, September 28, 2025.

  • registration will be taken through the website, yogawithkendi.com. You will pay the first half of the total amount at registration which will insure your spot. There will be no “holding” of spots without payment or via email communication.

  • waiting list: there will be a waiting list if registration exceeds 3 men, 10 women (incl. 2 leaders). You will receive communication if you are on the waiting list, and your deposit will be held until further notice. You will receive 100% of your deposits back if you do not get a spot

  • cancellation; if you need to cancel, and your spot can be filled with someone on the waiting list, you will receive all but 10% of the total registration fee ($140). If your spot can not be filled you will forfeit the initial payment of $700.

Accommodations:

  • there are two properties with a total of 8 bedrooms at Spring Haven and Serenity Beach. The properties are close to one another and close to the beach (3-5 blocks walking). Attendees will be assigned a house/room that best accommodates the overall group of attendees.

  • as registrations come in, rooms will be assigned. If you would like to request to room with a friend, please email me once both registrations are complete. There is no guarantee that everyone will get the requested placement.

Travel:

  • two airport options are Tampa (TPA) or Sarasota (SRQ, recommended)

Arrival Day (Tuesday October 28)

  • 4:00pm check in at both properties, grazing board upon arrival (both houses)

  • 5:30pm poolside welcome circle, intention setting at Serenity Beach house

  • 7:00pm dinner at Serenity Beach house

  • 10:00pm indoor/outdoor quiet time

Day 2 (Wednesday October 29)

  • 7:00am early risers pre-breakfast (coffee, tea, morning snack)

  • 8:30am morning meditation & beach yoga

  • 10:30am brunch

Midday create your own optimal afternoon schedule-swim, walk or relax on the beach, explore the island, visit local shops, spend time with friends, read a book, or journal poolside.

  • 4:30pm yoga session with Nora

  • 7:00pm dinner at Serenity Beach house

  • 8:00pm group activity

  • 10:00pm indoor/outdoor quiet time

Day 3 (Thursday October 30)

  • 7:00am early risers pre-breakfast (coffee, tea, morning snack)

Free Day! enjoy the opportunity to make this yoga vacation truly your own. check out the list of activities, attractions, restaurants, and excursions, all the best the island has to offer. we will meet back together on the beach to watch the sunset and eat dinner at 6:30pm. note: eat what you like, breakfast and lunch not included on this day.

  • 6:30pm meet to watch the sunset and have dinner at Sandbar Restaurant

  • 8:00pm group activity

  • 10:00pm indoor/outdoor quiet time

Day 4 (Friday October 31)

  • 9:00am yoga with Nora

  • 10:30am brunch

Midday create your own optimal afternoon schedule-swim, walk or relax on the beach, explore the island, visit local shops, spend time with friends, read a book, or journal poolside

  • 4:30pm yoga with Kendi

  • 7:00pm celebration dinner

  • 8:00pm guided yoga dance with Nora and closing circle

FAQs:

  • there are two houses with a total of 8 bedrooms. Spring Haven has 3 bedrooms, 5 beds. Serenity Beach has 5 bedrooms, 10 beds. Single room accommodations are limited

  • special dietary needs will be accommodated

  • October in AMI, enjoy high temperatures in the mid 80's with lows in the mid 70's.

  • expect one free day (thurs.) to be built into the schedule for relaxing, exploring, and reflection

  • a car is not required as island is walkable, a maximum of 4 cars allowed to park at each property

About Kendi:

Yoga is an exploration of Self for Kendi, 500RYT & Big Heart Meditation instructor, who offers Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Restorative Yoga, and meditation. Kendi is a warm and welcoming teacher who is passionate about helping students find a meditative practice through movement, breath, meditation and quiet reflection. She loves to help students of all ages, and welcomes anyone who comes to the mat with an open mind and an open heart.

About Nora:

Nora is life-long teacher who has come to understand that she is here to share with others what she most needs to continue to learn herself. She is a 200RYT who incorporates dance, music and writing into her practices. For years she worked with children and teens but in recent years, enjoys creating a safe space for adults to explore vulnerability and shine bright their authentic, true selves. Let’s celebrate YOU!
